SCUML Registration is a requirement for opening a Nigerian corporate account. SCUML Registration must be completed online. follow this steps to register.
The Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML) is registering all the above mentioned businesses/professions in Nigeria with a view to monitoring and supervising the firms in accordance with the law. Therefore, we have provided the online registration requirements for all interested applicants online.

SCUML Online Registration Requirements.
- Go to SCUML Online registration portal www.scuml.org
- Check on the top right of the page and click on Register online
- Select your business or profession
- Fill the registration Form and attach the required documents listed below:
Business and Professional Entities - Limited Liability Company:
- Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Certificate of Registration
- Memorandum and Article of Association (MEMART)
- Form CO2 and CO7
- Tax Identification Number from Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS)
- Professional Certificate(for professional’s i.e. ICAN,ANAN,NBA e.t.c)
Business Name:
- Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Certificate of Registration
- BNO1 (Director’s Particulars)
- Tax Identification Number from Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS)
- Professional Certificate(for professional’s i.e. ICAN,ANAN,NBA e.t.c)
Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) - Limited Liability/Guaranty:
- Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Certificate of Registration
- Incorporation of Trustees/ Article and Memorandum of Understanding
- Constitution/ Form Co2
State Registration:
- Certificate of Registration from State
- Constitution
- Copies if ID of at least 3 Trustees
International NGOs:
- Agreement from National Planning Commission (NPC)
- Constitution
- Organizational Profile
NB: Compliance officer should be a staff of the organization.
