The management of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku has
released the proposed academic calendar for the first semester,
2017/2018 academic session.

- October 9th, 2017 – Commencement of 2017/2018 Session (Registration begins).
- October 16th, 2017 – Lectures Begins for all ND2 Students (Except for SIWES Students).
- December 4th, 2017 – Resumption of all Returning ND2 Students (Registration begins).
- December 22nd, 2017 to January 2nd, 2018 – End of year holiday.
- January 3rd, 2018 – Work Resumes (Solemn Assembly)
- January 4th, 2018 – Lecture Continues
- January 22nd to 26th, 2018 – Orientation for New Students
- January 27th, 2018 – Matriculation For New Students
- February 2nd, 2018 – Lectures End
- February 4th to 9th, 2018 – Course Work test/ Revision
- February 12th to March 9th, 2018 – First Semester Examination
- March 12th, 2018 – End of First Semester
