The general public is hereby informed that application forms for admission into the degree Programme of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University is now available on-line for the 2018/2019 academic session.

IMPORTANT! Currently, IBBU Post UTME Form 2018 is not yet out online, DISREGARD any form of advert you come across. This page will be updated immediately the form is out.

IBBU Post-UTME Eligibility.

Candidates who chose IBBU in the 2018 Universities Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 180 or above for screening.
 
Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University requires all candidates applying for admission into any of its courses to possess five credit “O” level passes.

Important Notice:

1. All UTME prospective candidates are to check/verify their eligibility for the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University UTME O’Level results screening/verification exercise.
2. Successful prospective candidate that have met the minimum requirement are to print the payment permission slip with banks details on it OR make payment online via Interswitch WebPAY.
3. The prospective candidate is required to make a payment of; TWO THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED NAIRA ONLY (N 2,300 : 00 K) – to submit either ONE(1) or TWO(2) O’LEVEL RESULT(s). The amount includes bank/transaction charges.

How to Apply for IBBU Post-UTME.

The online screening exercise is in three stages as indicated below:

Stage 1: CANDIDATES ELIGIBILITY CHECK:

1. Visit the university official website; www.ibbu.edu.ng
2. Enter their JAMB Registration Number to confirm if they are eligible. If eligible
3. Enter their mobile phone number & select the number of result(s) to submit (Maximum of 2 sittings for O’Level results).
4. A transaction ID/invoice will be generated for the candidate. The candidate is to select preferred payment option (Interswitch Branch Collect OR Interswitch webPAY).

Stage 2: PAYMENT:

1. If Branch Collect is selected, a transaction ID/invoice slip will be generated to be printed out and taken to any of the listed banks on the portal.
2. If webPAY is selected as the preferred payment option, the candidate will be re-directed to Interswitch webPAY page to make the payment online

Stage 3: RESULT SUBMISSION:

1. Candidates who have completed the second stage of the screening should proceed to the third stage upon receiving their payment confirmation SMS (text message).
2. They are to log into the portal using the details send to them in the SMS (text message).
3. Candidates are advised to correctly input their results and any other requested information on the portal.
4. Candidates may after submission print out their submission acknowledgement slip for personal reference only.

NOTE: Candidates results will be screened for eligibility of admission based on the following:

1. The University Admission will only be based on the NUC carrying capacity for this University. Therefore, relative merit will be strictly applied in the context of the quality of O’ / A’Level Results and UTME Score.
2. Authentication of their O’ / A’Level results by the University.
3. Must have the appropriate credits in subject combination of the Course applied for including English and Mathematics, as well as the right combination in Jamb exams.
4. Must have applied to IBB University, Lapai as Most Preferred (First Choice).

This Exercise is a Policy aimed at Confirming and Authenticating the credentials of candidates before Admission Arrangements have been concluded with ALL Examination Bodies to verify all candidates results.
