BIDA Poly 15th Convocation Ceremony 2018

The Federal Polytechnic, Bida hereby invites the general public to its 15th Convocation Ceremony for the 206/2017 graduands. 

The Rector, Dr. AbubakarA. Dzukogi of BIDAPOLY has announce and invites graduands, parents and the general public to the 15th combined Convocation Ceremony for the 2016/2017 session. 

BIDA Poly convocation ceremony is scheduled to hold on Wednesday 28th March, 2018.

Federal Polytechnic, Bida Convocation Ceremony Programme of Events.

Day 1: Thursday 22nd March, 2018

Event: Rector's Pre-convocation press briefing

Venue: The Polytechnic Boardroom

Time: 11am prompt

Day 2: Tuesday 27th March, 2018.
Event A: Convocation Lecture

Guest Lecturer: Prof. Abdulmumin Bala Ahmed, Department of Private & Commercial Law, Bayero University, Kano

Topic: The Role of Polytechnic Education in Nigeria’s Quest for Economic Diversification

Venue: Bagudu Waziri Auditorium, Federal Polytechnic Bida

Time: 10am

Day 3: Tuesday 28th March, 2018.

Event A: Conferment of National Diploma, Higher National Diploma and the Polytechnic Fellowship Award

Foundation Laying Ceremony of His Excellency, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, School of Agricultural Technology Complex and 3000-seater capacity ICT Theatre named after His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello would follow immediately after the Convocation.

Notice to Graduands

1. All graduands are expected to bring their identity cards or registration forms to sign for and collect their academic gowns from their various schools Officers. Note that the collection of gown is free
2. Please note that academic gowns must be returned not later than Friday 30 March, 2018 at 4:00pm failure to comply will attract a fine per day
3. Graduands are also requested to assemble at the Convocation Square on Wednesday 28th March, 2018 between 8:00am to 8:30am.
4. Graduands must be fully dressed in their gowns and on a queue according to their schools.

General Notice

Interested commercial photographers/video operators are requested to register and obtain clearance from the convocation ceremony committee

1. All Graduating students must wear the prescribed academic gowns.
2. All guests of the Polytechnic (properly identified with their invitation cards) are to be seated not later than 9:30am.
3. No one, including graduands and their parents/guardians will be admitted into the venue after 9:30 am
4. Graduands are not allowed to leave the convocation venue before the end of the ceremony, the graduands are strongly advised to comply with these arrangements
5. We congratulate all graduands and wish them journey mercies to and from their destinations.
