Applications now open for the 2018 AccelerateHer sponsored by Shell Downstream SA. Shell encourages and actively supports the start up and development of local businesses to be part of its supply chain.

AccelerateHer is a is a fully-funded, 3 month business accelerator for women entrepreneurs  designed to fast track the development of women-owned businesses, taking into account the specific and unique challenges women face. Stand a chance of winning R50,000 to kickstart your business.

Seed Academy in partnership with WDB are proud to launch the inaugural AccelerateHer programme sponsored by Shell SA-South Africa’s most impactful women-in-entrepreneurship initiative designed by women for women.

1. Women, aged 18-35
2. From the Ekurhuleni area
3. A business idea aligned to Shell’s value chain
4. Must be driven, motivated and committed

What you need to know

1. AccelerateHer is a 90 day programme
2. The programme runs from Feb – May 2018
3. Applications close 31 January 2018
4. Shortlisted candidates, who meet the application criteria, will be contacted for an in-person interview
5. Successful applicants will be notified in January 2018
6. Participants will be required to attend 1 session a week

1. Go from an idea to having a registered business in 90 days
2. Receive ongoing support for your business after the programme
3. Get access to markets
4. Get support and assistance in dealing with the specific challenges that women face in building and growing their  businesses
5. PLUS! Stand a chance of winning R50,000 to kickstart your business

Duration of Program: 3 months. February to May 2018.
