FUTA Appoints Osadugba as Acting Bursar

FUTA has approved the appointment of Osadugba as Acting Bursar for the institution 

The Council of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, FUTA has approved the appointment of an Acting Bursar for the institution while the substantive Bursar Mr. E.A.A Oresegun has been asked to vacate his position indefinitely pending the conclusion of an ongoing auditing and investigations of the finances of the University.

The Acting Bursar is Mr. Peter Oladapo Osadugba. Prior to this appointment, Osadugba has headed different units of the Bursary Department ranging from Loans and Advances, Final Accounts, Cash Office, Accounts Payable and Budget and Expenditure Control. 

He has also represented the Bursary on the University’s Ceremonial Committee, Budget Monitoring Committee, Project Implementation Committee and University Accreditation Committee since 2015.

Osadugba has chaired different Committees like Bursary Micro Finance Establishment, FUTA Coop Staff Salary Review Committee and FUTA Bursary Welfare Committee among others. He has also served in several Committees as a member.

An Alumnus of University of Ilorin and the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Osadugba, a chartered accountant, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration in addition to Associate Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria [ICAN].

A University Scholar (1988/1989) of the University of Ilorin, Osadugba joined the services of FUTA in 1995 as Accountant II and rose through the ranks to become a Chief Accountant in 2011 before this new appointment.

Osadugba who has attended several conferences is married with children.
