Young Empowered Programmers (YEP!) is an initiative to bring Coding to kids and teens between the ages of 5 and 16 in a fun and immersive manner. The concept behind YEP! is to energize, encourage and empower students, in their current schools with the power to code.

Currently, over 1000 students are benefiting from this initiative from various schools in Lagos and Ogun States respectively.

In our quest to reach out to more schools and communities, we are currently seeking bright minds who are passionate about adding value to young people to fill the position as follows:

Responsibilities:
Will be assigned to some of the schools in our network as a Facilitator
Train students on the usage and application of the programming languages we teach
Apply and use the existing curriculum in training students
Organise students assessments and grade students accordingly
Do a weekly report on tasks carried out

Candidate Requirements

Qualification: A minimum of OND in Computer Science or its equivalent.
Skills: Knowledge of  Scratch, App Inventor,HTML, Java Script, Python.

NB: Potential employees will be given further trainings on these programming languages and personal development will be supported.
