AAU 21st Convocation Ceremony Hire & Sale of Gowns Notice

The management of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma write to inform you that the 21st Convocation Ceremony of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma has been scheduled for Friday, 7th through Saturday, 15th July, 2017.
Graduands are expected to commence the collection of academic gowns in their Faculties/Institute, etc with effect from Monday, 10th July, 2017.
To this end, all Diploma/First Degree graduands are to pay a non-refundable fee of N3,000.00 (Three thousand Naira) only in Bank Draft payable to Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. The draft should be converted to the University receipt in the Bursary Department before proceeding to the Faculty Officers to collect academic gowns, hoods, caps and scrolls.
The gowns, hoods and caps should be returned to the Faculty Officers after use on or before Wednesday, 19th July, 2017. Thereafter, a fine of N200.00 (Two hundred Naira) only shall be charged daily for late return of the gown with effect from Thursday, 20th July, 2017.
Postgraduate graduands are to note that gowns are available for sale as follows:
1. Ph.D Gowns - N30,000.00
2. Masters’ Gowns - N20,000.00
The mode of payment is as stated above. However, the postgraduate academic gowns shall be collected in the office of the Deputy Registrar (Senate Services) on presentation of the appropriate receipt.
Finally, graduands are to collect invitation cards from their Faculty Offices/Institute (For Diploma/First Degree) and the office of the Deputy Registrar (Senate Services) for Postgraduate graduands.
The purpose of this memo is to inform all the affected graduands of the above for guidance and compliance.
