NSUK Appoints New Dean for Faculty of Social Sciences

Professor Abdullahi Liman has been elected Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Nasarawa State University, Keffi. Associate Professor Francis Onu was also elected Deputy Dean.
Professor Liman succeeds Professor Andrew Zamani, whom he served under as the Deputy Dean. Liman is a Professor of Political Science and also a communication scholar. Dr. Onu is presently the Acting Head of Department, Sociology.
Brief Biography of Prof. Liman
Prof LIMAN, Abdullahi Nuhu was born in Lafia, Nasarawa State on November 19, 1963.
He obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Hons) in Mass Communication at the University of Maiduguri in 1987, Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) in Communication Studies in 1991 from the University of Ghana, Legon in Accra, Ghana, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Political Science with specialisation in International Relations.
During the course of his academic voyage, he has in his academic kitty over twenty five (25) journal articles, authored four (4)textbooks, written five (5) book chapters, and presented several papers at conferences, workshops and seminars, locally and internationally.
