NYSC DG URGES CORPS MEMBERS ON DISCIPLINE
1 min read
The Director-General, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure, has urged Corps members deployed in the 2017 Batch 'A' (Stream One) to exhibit high sense of discipline in all their dealings.
He made the call while addressing the Corps members deployed to Niger State shortly after their swearing-in today at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Paiko.
Kazaure warned them against engaging in fraudulent act; stressing that they should always imbibe the virtues of honesty and hard work.
"You should believe in yourselves, and be good ambassadors of your families," he said.
The Director-General enjoined the Corps members to always appreciate and respect the cultures of the host communities, and to always dress decently.
He also cautioned them against unauthorized journeys and attendance of night parties.
Kazaure had earlier joined other dignitaries at the swearing-in ceremony of the Corps members, which took place at the camp parade ground with the Niger State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed Ketso, presiding on behalf of Governor Abubakar Bello.
Justice Abdullahi Mikailu of the State High Court administered the oath of allegiance on the 1,912 Corps members registered at the camp.
