Direct Entry Candidates for Are To Write Aptitude Test and Not UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has directed that all candidates for Direct Entry (DE) examinations are required to write Aptitude Test and NOT UTME examinations.
A statement from the Head of Public Relations JAMB, Fabian Benjamin on Monday in a phone conversation with Punch Newspaper disclose this piece of information to the general public.
“Direct Entry candidates will attempt an aptitude test which is school-based. They are not sitting for the UTME. The test is from the universities. The new book we introduced will be used by Direct Entry candidates for the aptitude tests that will be conducted by the universities.’’ - He said.
